Savannah Harbor Foundation names Bernard Williams & Company’s Dan Pavlin to its board of directors.
(Savannah, Georgia) The Savannah Harbor Foundation has named Dan Pavlin, Vice President of Commercial Lines at Bernard Williams & Company, to its board of directors. Founded in 2001 as a response to the 9/11 tragedy, the Savannah Harbor Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization that helps support local children’s charities with family-oriented, community events.
As a board member, Pavlin will help the Foundation in its efforts to organize and present events that benefit local charities. With the support of volunteer board members and staff, the Foundation’s events help raise money for area charities. Events such as the Gingerbread Village & Competition, AquaCurean and Boat Parade of Lights have benefitted organizations including Greenbriar Children’s Shelter, 200 Club of the Coastal Empire, Policeman’s Foundation, Give One Glove, and Boys n Girls Club.
