Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Coastal Empire (RMHCCE) raised more than $60,000 at its recent two-day fundraiser at the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa. The “Beer, Guys, Cigars, & Golf” event kicked off with craft brews, cigars, food, door prizes, and more during a VIP reception Sunday, October 2.

“We want to thank all our sponsors and those who attended and supported our organization,” Bill Sorochak, RMHCCE’s executive director said.  “A special shout out goes to our Title Sponsors Dr. Pepper and Advanced A/V for their continued support of the tournament from the beginning,” Sorochak added.

On Monday, October 3, teams competed in the golf tournament. Taking first place at the tournament was Dr. Pepper’s team comprised of Ken Wise, Leo Lopez, Keith Lollis, and Bill Sorochak. The Bernard Williams & Company team, represented by Allen Williams, Jonathan Headley, Candler Wilson, and Alan Dasher took second place.
