Congratulations to our Vice President of Accounting, Pam Howe, on being featured in the current SOUTH Magazine issue. Pam was recognized for her running achievements, including last month’s finish at the 2016 TCS New York Marathon in 3:34:38, placing 28 out of the 1,600 runners in her age bracket and beating her personal record (PR).
Excitedly, Howe explained that the time was “almost a 10 minute PR, over 13 minutes faster than I ran this race last year, and under my Boston Qualifier (time for qualifying for the Boston Marathon) by over 25 minutes!” She was one of almost 50,000 competitors running at the November 6 event in New York, reportedly the largest marathon in the world. Way to go, Pam!
