Having trouble deciding whether to eat donuts, go for a run or volunteer at a local charity? Go to the Baker’s Pride Donut Challenge presented by Bernard Williams & Company, Auto-Owners Insurance and Baker’s Pride Saturday, November 17. Proceeds from this family-friendly event benefit the Royce Learning Center and Greenbriar Children’s Center.
The Donut Challenge begins at 8:30AM at Calvary Day School, 4625 Waters Avenue, on Saturday, November 17 and the challenge is to eat up to six donuts in between 1.5 miles of the front and back course starting at Calvary Baptist Church and School. This is a timed event with divisions based on the number of donuts. After starting at Calvary, the route goes to Baker’s Pride and returns to Calvary.
A new feature this year is the option to run “donut-free” and just enjoy watching others.
Register through Friday, November 16 at www.savannahraces.com.
